Our Founder

This bio of the Elenarwen of Sidhevair combines two identities. As is the nature of Sidhevair residents, the Elenarwen is a creature of both worlds...Faelf.

The Faelf are blended folk from between the betweens—bridging them and at the same time also opening portals between our Worlds and the OutWorld that some call "Real Life".

In a very real sense this combination has a resonant effect upon who the Elenarwen is— both Inworld and Out.
In Inworldz she is Maerian Sidhevair, the Elenarwen (Star Lady) of the Sidhevairs (Faery-Elf).

In the Outworld, the Elenarwen is Maerian Morris, a student and a teacher of religion, folklife, and semiotic rhetoric (discourse of signs and symbols) and a Priestess and founder of a Faelf mythopoeic religion,Westernesste.

She is also an ordained and former High Priestess of the Church of All Worlds, one of the founding organizations of the NeoPagan religious movement.

Maerian is also a writer, a storyteller, an editor, a fencing instructor and a project manager.

Her profile notes that although she pretends to be human some of the time, she must confess to varying levels of success in that endeavor.Curriculum Vitae
